Our In-house caterers, Green & Fortune have recently refreshed their drinks list to incorporate a number of both low alcohol and alcohol-free drinks, giving you even more options for your event.

Their beverage team have created several new mocktails and low alcohol cocktails including ‘Green Apple’ which is made from freshly pressed cloudy apple juice, lemon juice, blue curacao syrup and garnished with dehydrated apple. As well as the low abv ‘Passionfruit Sangria’ which is made using red wine, lemonade, passionfruit purée and a fruit medley and ‘Hugo’, consisting of Prosecco, elderflower cordial, mint leaves, lime wedge.

Alongside these, as well as soft drinks and Heineken Zero, a selection of high quality zero and low alcohol wines feature on our wine list with both white and red options and even a 0% sparkling wine with the Oddbird no alcohol spumante.

Low and no alcohol drinks are a growing trend in the UK, with recent John Lewis, Kantar and Diageo research data all pointing to this. The data claims that 47% of UK adults are switching between alcohol and low- and alcohol-free drinks on the same occasion with 40% of adults saying they want to moderate their drinking. It estimates that seven in ten adults want to be able to find low alcohol and alcohol-free drinks more easily, as well as 99% of shoppers having bought both low and alcohol-free drinks and alcohol over the past year.

Making these options available for all events allows event bookers to offer a more interesting and appealing option to all guests – including those that aren’t drinking alcohol, while also ensuring a responsible service of alcohol at their event.

These menus also support Central Hall Westminster’s sensible drinking policy, which includes the guideline of a maximum of two alcoholic drinks per person.
