Train
York station is very close to the venue, it is just less than a mile away. York is on the East Coast Main Lin. It is a key junction between London’s King Cross and Edinburgh. It is approximately five miles north of the point where the Cross Country and TransPennine Express routes via Leeds join the main line, connecting Scotland and the North East, North West, Midlands and southern England. Bus
The Monk’s Cross park and ride bus (route number 9) stops nearby in Stonebow. Several other bus services also call at Stonebow. Please see the Travel York website for more detailed information.
Car
As the venue is in the center of the city, there is no parking onsite. There is a limited number of parking spaces on the road for disabled drivers; general parking in St Saviour’s Place is available in the evenings.
There are several public car parks within a short walking distance of SSY. The City of York Council’s local view map provides further details. Fossbank is the closest and open until 8pm. Monk Bar and Castle car parks are alternatives that are open all day.
